For many of us at BSK, our canine companions are valued members of our families, and bring great joy to our lives... and as the traditional traits of "man's best friend" are also hallmarks of our firm - dependability, loyalty, intelligence - it is befitting that we pay tribute to our best friends here.

Max Roman-Aquilino

In January of 2007, the Aquilinos decided it was high time to start a family. So, they got on Petfinder.com to adopt a four-legged child. A young chow mix, rescued as a stray, stole their hearts and they adopted him, naming Maximus - Max, for short. Within months, they bought him a bigger house with a large backyard, which he rules like the gladiator after which he was named! Max is a foodie, loves to bark at birds, neighbors, cars, postal workers, other dogs, airplanes, the doorbell... and his new brother.

Cabo Roman-Aquilino

Cabo is the newest member of the Aquilino family, as of December, 2010. He was abandoned by his prior family in a foreclosed home early in the summer that year. He spent nearly two months waiting for them to come back for him, while neighbors fed him. He was finally taken in by a very kind family that fostered him for several months, before Trish and Steve were able to add him to the family. Apparently Cabo had never had the pleasure of a walk or leaving that backyard he was abandoned in, so they are working to show him all the good that life has to offer.
